Has anyone ever taken any prescriptions/birth control and experienced weight gain? I’m abt to start spironolactone (I have mild PCOS) , and the side effects are increased fat distribution to boobs and butt(yay) but also tummy and thighs too.. I’ve been average weight my whole life with an hourglass figure and I’m curious n excited. Kinda nervous because it’s always been hard for me to gain alotta weight despite my horny binges

No, never give the birth control pill to an obese woman as it increases the likelihood of thrombosis. Try periactin. It’s a relatively safe antihistamine and it is a miracle drug for weight gain. My wife has used it extensively with amazing results.

A lot of my wife’s major initial gains were between her first and second pregnancies years ago. She had a few years worth of depo shots and it blew her up by about a hundred pounds. The weight never really went away and she’s been north of 300 for a long time now.

I can attest to the spiralactone giving you more fat, I've been on it for 2 years and I've gained some. Its a commonly listed side effect of hrt for transfems as well

Why tf would you take an antihistamine for PCOS? That will do fuck all for your hormone levels.

You have the reading comprehension of a gnat. Did you think OP mentioned that medication for funsies? This medication is commonly used to treat PCOS.

All day, every day. But in this case, OP is taking a medication that happens to have weight gain as a side effect.
